Early pattern Italian WWII camouflage wore by 12th SS "Hitlerjugend", in Normandy, as well as other units. After Italy surrendered and was occupied by German forces in 1943, all military supplies were appropriated by the Germans including Italian camo material which was then used to make German uniforms.
